Pnina Weintraub is an Israeli violinist and band leader who specializes in the intricate process of creating, developing, and finally, performing rock songs. Pnina led a women’s rock band called 'Ashira' (http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3720622,00.html), and created a new genre in the Israeli religious music scene. Over the past few years, she participated in forming a musical ensemble called ‘Dvarim B'alma’ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIqhHSiyD1c). This unique ensemble is made up of men and women, religious and secular musicians. Their songs are played on popular Israeli radio stations and are known for their quality and depth.
Besides being a talented musician and a natural leader, Pnina’s MA in Music Therapy from Bar Ilan University enables her to approach students in a Warm and supportive attitude.
