The Koffler Centre of the Arts returns this year to the International Festival of Authors with acclaimed author Assaf Gavron. Gavron will discuss his latest work, The Hilltop, in which he masterfully uses fiction to deconstruct the extreme and absurd reality of day to day life in a West Bank settlement.
Gavron has published five novels (Ice, Moving, Almost Dead, Hydromania and The Hilltop), a collection of short stories (Sex in the cemetery), and a non-fiction collection of Jerusalem falafel-joint reviews (Eating Standing Up). His fiction has been translated into German, Russian, Italian, French, English, Dutch, Swedish, Greek and Bulgarian.
Presented together with the International Festival of Authors. For tickets and more info: www.ifoa.org
