As an educational extension to the Koffler Gallery's fall exhibition, which featured 35 video works tracing the development of contemporary video art in Israel, we invited students from various high schools across the city (Toronto) to view some of the video works in the show, and to partake in a workshop producing their own short video works.
At the end of their visit, students had gained an understanding of the history of video practices and video's unique ability to examine the cultural and political. Below is a selection of videos made by students of Bishop Marrocco Seconday School.
